In addition to being one of the longest dunes in North America, the dune, which extends 12 km into Bouctouche Bay, is home to a fragile ecosystem serving as essential habitat for several species of plants and animals.
Visitors can admire its natural beauty while walking a wooden walkway or exploring the beach in search of shells of various shapes and colors.
The dynamic eco-center team offers educational interpretive programs throughout the summer period.
